Privacy

This is a plain-language draft. It is being reviewed before companies can sign up on their own.

Who we are

Trafficore is run by TraffiCore Limited.

What we collect

  • Your account: your name, your email, and a phone number if you add one.
  • Your company's records: whatever you and your team put into Trafficore.
  • An activity record: a short note of who changed what in a company, and when, kept in our activity log.
  • Set-up requests: the company name, your name and email from the form, and a scrambled form of your internet address, made with a secret key, used only to stop abuse.
  • What your browser tells us: Pages visited and page speed, through Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights, which set no cookies. We also count a few steps, such as opening the test drive and sending the set-up form, with no names or emails. Before anything is sent we remove everything after the page address, except the name of a prepared test drive, such as new-hire.

Cookies and storage

Signing in sets a cookie that keeps you signed in, and one that remembers which company you are working in. The test drive keeps your changes in your browser's session storage, on your device only, until you close the tab. We use no advertising cookies.

Who we share it with

Only the companies that run Trafficore for us: Vercel (hosting and page analytics), Neon (the database), Resend (email), and Google if you choose to sign in with Google. We never sell your information, and we never show it to another company on Trafficore.

Your company's records are yours

Each company's records are kept apart from every other company's by the database itself. You can ask us for a copy of your company's records, or to delete them, at any time.

How long we keep things

Your account and your company's records stay until you ask us to remove them. Set-up requests are deleted after 180 days.

The activity log outlives a company and its records, including a company deleted at your request: who changed what, and when, stays in it, and so does a short record that the company was made or removed, with its name and the owner's email.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that matters, we will tell account owners by email before it takes effect.
